Test Results

There are several types of molecular profiling tests that we can provide for your patients. Most tests require an FFPE tumor block or unstained slides but additional tests can be performed if fresh frozen tumor tissue is available. The test panel for FFPE tumor samples is shown in the tables below. Microarray on FFPE tumor blocks, which provides read-out on additional molecular targets, is available if the sample obtained is at least 40% tumor cells. The length of time for obtaining test results varies depending on the battery of tests run. Generally, we can provide test results within seven days of receiving tumor sample and this will be faxed to the physician. A final summary report will be mailed within 4 weeks of obtaining all study results, sooner if possible.
